I’ve been using the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Oil three times this past week as the first step in my double cleansing routine. it was a bit irritating, using it around my eyes to remove my waterproof makeup however, it did remove all traces of my make up. My skin felt clean, fresh, and a bit tight afterwards. I also appreciate that it’s fragrance-free and gentle on skin. It’s quick, effective, and doesn’t leave any residue. I really liked this product. It’s very gentle and lightweight. It doesn’t feel oily and heavy like other oiler cleansers which I really like. I use it at night as my first cleanse before a water based cleanse to get off the worst of the dirt and makeup and I find it does a very good job. It rinses off well and feels nice on my skin. I’m extremely picky when it comes to skincare, so when I find a product I enjoy, it’s life changing. Recently, I’ve added the Take The Day Off Cleansing Oil by Clinique to my nighttime routine. My favourite feature is that it’s fragrance free and allergy tested which is a huge selling point for me! It’s great for all skin types, safe for sensitive eyes, and anyone who wears contacts. Way back in the day, I used to use just regular makeup remover at the end of the day. Since I started switching to oils, I’m not scrubbing off my skin as much. Skin oils are a much gentler approach to removing makeup at the end of the day. It just melts right off and it’s an absolute game changer. I typically only cleanse at night. I start off my evening by applying the Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Oil all over my face and on dry skin. I massage it in and after a minute, I’ll use a soft cloth to take off all of my makeup. I’ll step in the shower then and finish off my routine. I cleanse my face and body and then I moisturize right after. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my skin once I’ve started taking the double cleansing approach. (Oil first and then cleanser) Overall, I’m extremely happy with the Clinique Cleansing Oil. It’s gentle and it’s so much easier to take off my makeup at night time as opposed to using generic makeup removers. My skin feels soft, smooth, and hydrated. I always follow up with a cleanser and I’ve noticed a huge difference in my skin’s appearance and health since doing this. My skin is a lot clearer and I breakout less often. I’ve been using this cleansing oil every night to remove my makeup, and it works so well! It melts everything off — even waterproof mascara — and doesn’t leave any greasy feeling. Light weight, not greasy

So far I love this cleanser. Its light, not greasy, no scent, and doesn't irritate my eyes! After washing my face it felt hydrated and no oily residue was left which I love. I gave it 4 stars for now because im unsure if it will be strong enough to remove my waterproof mascara; which is ridiculously hard to remove with other cleansers. Ill be testing it out for that waterproof mascara tomorrow. Hopefully it works out, in that case id give it five stars! I do recommend this for any skin type.
