It is a deliciously (not gourmand) addictive scent. I can see why some people might describe it as "grape soda" or synthetic, but to me, you'd really have to look hard to notice these elements. The synthetic notes that are detectable don't offend me at all, and I tend to be fairly sensitive to synthetics. Mostly, I get a nice harmony of creamy wood that is balanced with something a bit tart, probably the red ginger - which stays present, but significantly mellows during the dry down. Overall, this is a very attractive scent. Great blind buy if you don't mind slightly sweet fragrances.

The scent profile is just that unique. I think much of it comes from the earthy cardamom in the scent. The thing I like most is that it is not overtly sweet unlike some other winter colognes. It definitely has sweetness in it, but it does not overpower the scent. With the sweetness, I smell a bit of earthy freshness as well. This is a scent that you need to smell for yourself to truly understand. Moreover, it fits the fall/winter vibe perfectly. It has the perfect combination of sweetness, earthiness, and freshness to flourish in the cold weather. The bottle has a very understated, elegant design with a matte black upper and a black glass lower half. One critique in the bottle design is that the cap does feel kind of cheap due to how light it is. This cologne lasted 7-8 hours on my skin with 3-4 sprays, so the longetivity is great. I also love how the scent matures over time into a darker, more mysterious scent. Overall, this is a unique, high-quality scent for the colder weather.
