Nice mild smell

I have received a small sample and I have gifted this to my brother and he loved the scent. It's not very overpowering and strong and stays for a long time. He can even smell it even after one day and it's very mild. I would recommend this to someone for gift purposes. Very fresh and clean smelling

I’m not always a fan of the cologne scents brands make, but this was really great. I like the citrusy scent and it reminds me of a fresh and more natural clean vibe. It lasts long and even after washing it off with soap a few times after application it remained present, showing that it’s not going to wash off with perspiration throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this as it doesn’t smell chemically which is a big problem with other perfumes.

A very nice fragrance with a good amount of musk. I would say it smells like a very typical scent for men. Nothing too special but does smell good. The fragrance is not very strong and does not last long, maybe a few hours. Would probably have to spray a decent amount to get the desired effect. The first thing that comes to mind when using Hugo Boss ‘The Scent’ eau de toilette is that of deep aromas of sophistication and sensuality, all the while doing so without being overpowering. Upon using just one simple spritz, you can pick up on its warm and captivating smooth smell of ginger, with an underlying hint of Maninka fruit. Together, these notes bring out feelings of refined exotic warmth, that make me think of both sensuality and a fresh island get-away. That being said, I found ‘The Scent’ to be versatile enough to use both day and night; be it that you want to give off notes of achievement in the workplace or as a way to add a sense of masculine depth when going out at night, this is an overall fragrance that does it all! Although I appreciate the versatility of Hugo Boss ‘The Scent’ eau de toilette, the only drawback that I experienced was the fact in which it regrettably does not seem to be overly long-lasting. That being said, due to the fact in which various body chemistries differ in terms of the length of time in which certain fragrances last, this may not be the case for everyone. Some may find ‘The Scent’ eau de toilette a little costly, but considering how little one may need to use, the breakdown of a full bottle really is not that costly as it may last for months.
