Peeled my skin and made it bright red

This peeled my skin. I used it one time and did nothing else different. The next day, my skin began to harden all over my chin. I can't even explain what I mean because it was so strange. I used an exfoliating mask to try and soften it which started to break it apart and then my skin began to peel as though I'd had a professional face peel. It then turned bright red and continued to peel. It's over a week since and I have dry skin on my cheeks and my face is still very red in general. Also, when I first applied it, it was like there was nothing on my skin. It didn't cover anything at all. Yes it did look natural as the name specifies but it's liked it soaked instantly into my skin. fyi...I do have somewhat sensitive skin but nothing crazy and also I have very good, healthy and clear skin which I look after very well. The one star is because the shade match was perfect for me and I was able to pick it out online to perfection.

Best foundation I have ever used!

I used to use Armani Power Fabric in the same shade (great foundation for oilier girlies), but the matte finish was becoming too drying for me now that my oily-combo skin is leaning more towards dry-combo as I age. Saw they had this in the same exact shade and I am so in love! It's a smooth finish with a beautiful and natural looking glow! It basically looks like my skin but glowier. It feels so lightweight! Almost like wearing nothing!

Very light coverage

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] If you want a nice creamy foundation with light coverage, this is for you. I wouldn’t say it makes your skin “glow” but it doesn’t clog the pores or dry weird. I wish it has some spf coverage

Drying and overpowering scent

I truly wanted to love this foundation, as I have always heard good thing about Armani. However, this foundation is not for me. It separates on my skin and settles into my fine lines, regardless of which primer I use. It is also incredibly drying and the smell is overpowering—I usually do not mind scents to my makeup products, but this one is nearly impossible to wear. This may work for someone with oilier skin to balance out the drying formula, but for anyone with dry or combination skin I do not know if this formulation would be right for you.

very sheer but beautiful

i love the packaging. it’s natural coverage, but i will say less is not more. i had to do many layers to get my desirable coverage, and i don’t even have bad skin. i would love to try the concealer as well

My new favorite foundation!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I didn’t want to like this foundation since the price is a bit steep but now that I’ve tried it, I’m obsessed and can say the quality is there and worth every penny! This foundation becomes a part of your skin, creating a smooth and blurred base that is so natural with great medium coverage. I used the shade matcher on the Armani website and the shade I got was a PERFECT match. I’m afraid I can’t go back to my other foundations after discovering this one. Luminous silk is perfectly named.

My skin is so dry and I have had the hardest time finding a foundation that doesn’t dry out my skin and make it look patchy but this one is a winner!! I love how it sits on my skin!

Soft, beautiful finish

While the foundation shade wasn’t a match (by no fault of the brand, I often have difficulties finding the correct shade and undertone), I still enjoyed it. The glass bottle adds to the luxurious feel, and is very sturdy. As for the product itself, it blends very easily and you only need a small amount. The coverage is quite buildable as well, so you can really tailor it to your preference. I tend to prefer glowier, dewy foundations but this one gives a really nice soft semi matte finish that still looks very natural.
