Luminous Silk Foundation - Foundation mit Weichzeichner-Effekt

I was excited to try this product. It goes on very smooth and covers nicely with a buildable medium coverage. I wish it lasted longer for my skin, it transfers to my phone and does not last 24 hours. I received this product in exchange for my honest review]. -even with setting spray.

Must have for me

Started using this product a few years ago. Really love the way it feels on my skin. Because it’s build able, it helps cover some sun damage!

A Must-Have!!!

I promised myself I would write a review after how well this foundation for me (because Armani Beauty deserves a shout out)! I recently had an appointment to get induced - prior to arriving to the hospital, I decided to do my makeup before going in to give birth. I applied my foundation early in the morning, and let me tell you — after hours of being in grueling pain and after all the sweat and tears (my epidural I requested did not work!)… by the time baby came out, my makeup was still perfect!! My foundation did not budge at all. I highly recommend this Armani foundation - if it lasts through hours of labor, it will definitely last through any event! This foundation has been my go-to for years, is worth the price, and is my holy grail makeup product!

I received this item for review. I was really excited for this foundation. The original Luminous Silk is a favorite and Armani has great for me undertones. This one didn't work out. It gripped onto drier patches and the longer I wore it the more I noticed it gathering in certain areas of my face. The bottle is beautiful and I stand by liking the undertones for an olive skintone. It might work better for normal skin.

Really great coverage. I have a lot of redness to my skin and this neutralized it very well. A little on the oilier side but this felt nice on top of sunscreen and moisturizer still, and stayed in place during my 8 hours in the office. Good shade range and a pretty decent match.

Lightweight yet great coverage. Skin-like!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I had always heard about people raving about this foundation and I never knew why until I finally got to try it myself. The first thing I noticed was that the formula is so lightweight. I feel like so many foundations can be so heavy especially those with higher coverage or moisturizing claims, but this is extremely thin and lightweight which makes application of breeze. I would say it has medium buildable coverage but again I really enjoy that because it looks like your skin. It is a bit less Dewey than my every day tinted SPF that I use but I enjoy the satin finish it gives especially for summer days when I get oiler thorough out the day. Overall I now understand the hype behind this and would definitely recommend! I received this product for free and exchange for my honest review, but my opinions are all my own.

Smooth finish

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This foundation had a nice finish. The coverage was good, it covered up my redness. Unfortunately, the shade was too dark for me. Next time I would choose a much lighter shade.

Natural finish, evens skin tone beautifully

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The packaging is beautiful and the product is a medium-full coverage foundation with a natural looking finish. However, there are so many high-performing foundations in the drugstore to mid-end price points that it is difficult to justify choosing this over less expensive options. I would compare this to Dior Backstage foundation in terms of coverage and finish, however Dior’s foundation has a gorgeous scent that gives it a more luxurious feel. This Armani foundation has a light powdery scent that makes it feel like a product meant for older women.

Not bad!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Light coverage, was definitely expecting more, but had the potential to be buildable. I could have gone with a lighter shade as it did oxidize a bit, but overall nice finish. Not cakey, but the smell isn’t great.

Best glow foundation for dry skin

I have very dry skin and it doesn’t like any kind of foundation no matter what brands/formula I have tried. Some reason I always get foundation spots after applying it. I tried this one thinking the same results but I am surprised how well it turned out. Texture is so smooth and easy to apply gives you finish look. I would recommend highly

Lives Up to the Hype

Really nice foundation. The formula is creamy and light but buildable and has a smooth, glowing finish. It does dry down quickly so keep that in mind for blending and layering other cream products.

Not for sensitive skin

I wanted this to be my new foundation after seeing lots of positive reviews. Unfortunately it doesn’t work for me. I have combination skin that is sensitive and it broke me out really bad.
