Pillow Balm Original - Feuchtigkeitsspendender Lippenbalsam

I received this product through Gloss Angeles Confidential. That said, this review is based on my honest experience. I’ve been using this product for a few weeks now, and overall, I really like it. The formula feels smooth and rich, and it makes my lips feel super soft and hydrated right away. It has a nice, light scent and feels very comfortable to wear. The packaging is also really cute and feels high-quality. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I don’t think it lasts very long. I find myself having to reapply it more often than I’d like, especially if I’m hoping for it to last through the night or over a long day. It definitely does what it says in terms of hydrating and making my lips feel nice.

Lips so soft and smooth!

I received the balm through Gloss Angeles Confidential. The balm had a slight tingly feeling when applied and made my lips feel moisturized. I love using the clear balm as an overnight treatment, I wake up to my lips feeling so smooth and soft. Highly recommend the clear balm.

Glossy not Sticky

The texture is creamy and “pillowy”. They give instant hydration, but without making your lips feel sticky. The few flavors I’ve tried are tasty, and not spicy. Although it is hydrating-I wouldn’t use just this product for super dry or chapped lips

I was very lucky to receive this product through the Gloss Angeles testing program! The hydration of this product is really top level - my lips never dried out if I was wearing this product. If I put it on at night, I'd wake up with well-hydrated and glossy lips. If I put it on in the morning, I only needed to reapply after eating. It feels very nice on the lips, and I love the pillow applicator as well! I received the "original" color, meaning it left a semi-glossy finish with no tint, so if I went out in public I would use a colored product underneath. This balm left a really lovely, glossy finish on top, and it became a favorite to layer over a few of my lipsticks. I will say, the flavor and scent is something that takes getting used to - I typically go for a scentless product or a mint product, while this delivers a fruity taste (it reminds me of lips glosses of my childhood in that regard haha!). But it of course fades throughout the day and becomes bearable. It also is a little heavier than most products I use. It felt a little sticky and gloopy for me at times, but considering the hydration benefits I received, I can get over feeling a tad bit sticky! I am now eager to try this in other shades!

Perfect summer balm

Thanks Gloss Angeles Confidential! This balm is super hydrating! I use during the day and as a night lip mask. My lips felt soft and plump. It’s perfect for summer; the formula and wand mean it won’t melt in my purse or car. The scents and tints are gorgeous.

Shiny Hydrating Gloss!

I received this product through Gloss Angelos Confidential. Love this lip gloss! Have a high shine and lovely scent. Give a nice minty feel and makes my lips feel full and hydrated. Was a perfect hydrating confident boost!

I haven't gravitated towards this brand in the past but was given an opportunity to try this through Gloss Angeles Confidential. It has been such a delightful experience I'm planning to look at buying some other things from the brand. Hydrating? Extremely. I have approximately 15 lip products that I've acquired in just the last two years. This is now number 1 in terms of my favorites. It feels luxurious on my lips, not sticky or tacky but somehow smooth. My lips continue to feel hydrated after the product wears off and they do look a bit bigger. There's no plumping feeling just pushing the moisture back in. I'm currently writing this on a plane and I don't think I'll be flying without it in the future as my lips are particularly impacted by the dry air normally. They're still feeling great. I'm a gloss person for sure so I appreciate the look but it's not so shiney that I feel weird in business settings (no one should ever feel weird about their makeup preferences in business settings but that's easier said than done). The smell is light. I'm a little nervous to try some of the others because I am sensitive to fragrances as they can be big headache triggers for me but I have had no problems with the original.

My new favorite lip product

I had the chance to test this clear gloss through the Gloss Angeles testing program, and it’s quickly become a favorite in my routine. It checks all the boxes: hydrating, lightweight, non-sticky, and super glossy without feeling heavy or sticky. What I love most is how effortlessly it enhances my lips—it gives that fresh, dewy look without adding any color, so it works with everything. Whether I’m going makeup-free or layering it over a lip liner for a more polished look, it always adds the perfect amount of shine. The formula feels more like a treatment than a typical gloss—it keeps my lips soft and smooth, and there’s barely any transfer when I’m drinking from a glass or straw. No mess, no stickiness, and definitely no thick, gloopy texture. It’s subtle but effective, and honestly one of those products you don’t realize you needed until you try it. I’ll definitely be keeping this in my bag from now on.

I received this product from Too Faced in collaboration with Gloss Angeles. This lip balm is nourishing and long-lasting, leaving my lips feeling pillowy even after the gloss wears off. I find myself reapplying this throughout the day and reaching for it more than my other lip treatments. Unfortunately, I have to take a star off because the scent is too overpowering for my taste. It has a strong fruity taste that I am not the biggest fan of. But overall, the color pay off and hydration make this a stand out product.

I received and tested this product thanks to Gloss Angeles, and it has quickly become one of my favorite lip products! I have dry lips and have struggled to find any lip treatments that actually work for me or don't require me having to reapply constantly. With this Too Faced Lip Balm, i really only needed to apply it right before bed and I would wake up with my lips still hydrated. I also live in a really humid climate and had to travel twice in the month spent testing this product to areas that are much drier climates. Normally my skin/lips struggle with the change in humidity, but this lip balm really helped keep my lips from feeling chapped! I highly recommend this product and will be purchasing again once I run out.

Beautiful hydrating thick balm

I wasn’t expecting to love this as much as I do, but this lip balm is really good! It’s super hydrating and has a thick, buttery texture that feels amazing without being sticky. I have dry lips normally and reach for this before bed. I got the classic and Ice Crystal through Gloss Angeles and I was pleasantly surprised by both, even though I typically prefer a more rosy tint. I liked the smell - slightly sweet - and the shine, though I'd be curious to try the tinted versions. The only downside for me is the applicator - I don't love having to use a wand, which sometimes brings out too much product / gets messy. I prefer a typical tube. Thanks Gloss Angeles!
