The formula glides on so smooth—no tugging, no patchiness. I just swipe it on with the wand and blend the edges with my fingertip or a flat brush. Beautiful pigment, easy application! This was my first time using a liquid eyeshadow product and this exceeded my expectations! The applicator is very easy to use, and it dries quickly to ensure that it does not smudge!

I honestly didn’t expect to love this as much as I do. The SEPHORA COLLECTION 12H Colorful Special Effects Multichrome Liquid Shadow is way better than I thought it would be. The formula feels smooth going on, and it gives you enough play time before it sets. Once it does, it’s locked in. No smudging, no creasing, and no weird flaking throughout the day. What really surprised me is the shift. It actually shows up on the eyes, not just in the bottle, which is rare for something at this price point. Depending on the light, it reflects different colors in a really eye-catching but wearable way. I’ve used it both as a bold statement on the lid and just as a topper over a simple base, and it works beautifully either way. It feels like something more high-end, but it’s affordable and performs just as well. I’ve worn it for full days and it holds up with zero fading. Honestly, it’s one of those hidden gems you don’t expect to love but end up reaching for again and again.

The multichrome effect is super pretty and definitely eye-catching. It shifts colors in the light and gives a cool, dimensional look with barely any effort. I like that you don’t need a bunch of tools or skills to use it. You can just swipe it on with the applicator or your finger, and it instantly makes your eyes pop. It’s great for nights out, concerts, parties, or any event where you want to add a fun, bold touch without spending forever blending eyeshadow. That said, I did find the formula a bit dry. It wasn’t as creamy as I expected based on the description, and that made it harder to blend out. If you have dry eyelids or like super smooth textures, that might be a downside. It’s still easy to apply and remove, but it doesn’t feel as buttery as I hoped. This would be perfect for people who love bold makeup looks but don’t want to put in too much effort or for beginners who want something fun without needing to know advanced techniques. Just don’t expect a super luxe texture. Overall, it gets the job done and looks great, but it could be a little smoother.

When I applied the product to my hand, I really liked the durability, texture and shade, but unfortunately, when I applied the product to my eyes, the durability immediately disappeared. In the attached photo collage, you can see that with the smoky eyes technique, when the product is applied using the original applicator - the texture delaminates, which happened immediately! The product simply cracked on my eyes, and also created a feeling of heaviness on my eyes (I can't stand this and immediately wash it off). But since I liked the shade of this product, I decided to think about how to save this situation and decided to make myself arrows. Unfortunately, this is impossible with the original applicator, and I took a separate thin angeled brush for arrows. I carefully took the product on an angled brush and made arrows (it turned out to be easy and beautiful). Interestingly, in the case of arrows, this product did not crack or delaminate... This raises a question: why was such a beautiful product not made in other packaging? With suitable packaging, we could make excellent arrows with it without using additional makeup brushes. I would also like to point out that I am a professional makeup artist with extensive experience and even for me this product in its original packaging with its original applicator turned out to be extremely difficult to use.

Gorgeous multi dimensional color!

This is an awesome liquid eyeshadow. Usually with such a bold color it can be hard to blend but this one blends so effortlessly. It has great color payoff and a little bit goes a long way. I’ve done multiple looks with this liquid shadow. It’s a a really versatile shadow that can be used as a liner. Although, I do prefer it as a shadow. It has great staying power both ways but lasts a little longer as a shadow. It does not crease which is often a problem with such pigmented liquid shadows. It is so beautiful on and is multi dimensional. It looks purple and pink at one angle and copper and gold at another. I was really surprised I was able to even use it as a daytime look for work. It’s bold but can be used in a variety of ways. I would recommend this gorgeous livid eyeshadow to anyone who loves liquid shadows and highly pigmented shadows. 5 stars. First of all I love the applicator it’s very small so you can be precise with it and that’s great! Once it sets it doesn’t move now let me tell ya I live in Florida and I do construction and this lasts all day for me no creasing nothing at all. The only thing I wish could have been a little better is the shift I wish it was more shifty if that makes sense and it is shifty but I wish it was more but it stays 5 stars because it may be more if I use a dark base? I’m gonna give that a try and see how it looks but I do absolutely love it I have been wearing it everyday I can’t wait to try out the other shades ;) also it doesn’t smell bad or strong at all and it blends out easy if you want to wear it alone or I added a dark green to the outer corners the other day it works Awsome

I’m absolutely in love with these multichrome liquid shadows! The pigmentation is incredible. Just one swipe gives you bold, vibrant color that shifts beautifully in the light. The texture is so creamy and smooth, making it super easy to apply and blend. It feels lightweight on the lids and doesn't crease or flake, which I really appreciate. The packaging is also a major win. It's super cute and surprisingly affordable for the quality you're getting. Out of all the shades I’ve tried, this one is definitely my favorite. I’m totally obsessed with the way it reflects different colors depending on the angle. What a UNIQUE product coming!!

What a neat eyeshadow! I love cream eyeshadows because the tend not to budge or smudge much so this was pretty exciting to try. The formula glides on so smooth with the doe foot included mind you this was my first time using an applicator for cream eyeshadow. It was easy to fix mistakes by adding a little bit more and it didn't affect the way the eye shadow looked. The colors will match with almost anything in your wardrobe too! There is a dark grey, yellow, purple, with a hint of blue and green is what I could see. I have not seen anyone wearing eyeshadow that is close to this which definitely makes this product stand out. When you move it changes colors and looks so stellar! The drying time is not long at all and it dries up to feeling completely LIGHTWEIGHT. You can feel the formula when you apply it but as it dries it gives you such a lightweight feeling like nothing is there. That makes it easier for me to build on with other shadows. I do have hooded eyes and they are really hooded. The struggle with that is when cream eyeshadows dry, it still does come off a little in the crease which mine goes deep in so it does touch the very top of my eye lid. Unfortunately that is why I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5. That is very important for hooded eyes with transfer and the longer I wore it throughout the day, the more the crease showed up and took away the effect of the colors. It made it look somewhat dirty on the crease. It may as well have been the humidity to here but I am leaning towards this shadow budges when introduced to sweat or moisture. That is the only thing I had an issue with. That means I have to reapply again to make it look universal but that would mean I need a bigger size to accomplish something like that daily. All in all I do recommend this shadow for just the lid and only the lid for my type of eyes. The color blue of this eyeshadow is very cute and strong. It gives the effect of two colors pink and blue when I apply it on my eyelids. It’s truly beautiful because I can see pink at the end of my eyelid and blue on the other end. It looks very professional, beautiful, and glamorous on my eyes. One swipe on the eyelids is more than enough to complete the makeup look with this eyeshadow shadow. I can also do smoky eye makeup look. I can smudge the color across my eyelid, or I can just swipe it to get more smooth makeup look. I also tried it as an eyeliner, and the results were great. I can use this color as an eyeshadow or an eyeliner. I can also do any makeup look I want. The texture of this eyeshadow is extremely rich and thick. Only small amounts of this eyeshadow will do the job. One swipe across the eyelids is enough. The container is very cute and easy to use. Its size is also perfect because it’s medium size, not too small and not too big. I can carry it with me in my bag.
