Pore Eclipse - Mattifying und Blurring Make-up Primer

great for oily skin!

One of my new favorite primers! As someone with oily skin, it can definitely be a struggle to find a good primer that will help my makeup last all day without clogging my pores or feeling greasy/heavy. But this one fits the bill! I appreciate that it didn’t break me out, and it provided a nice blurring effect to create the perfect matte base.

Even amazing solo!

I’ve been on a journey to cut down on the products I used on my face when I do my makeup. One thing I cut out was any type of foundation. Only problem is I have bigger pores, a couple crater scars and pretty oily skin. I’m so glad I tried this primer. I just use this and add some mascara, blush, lipgloss and a tad bit of bronzer. Makes my skin look naturally airbrushed and smooth all day. Especially in this California summer heat!!

life changing for oily girlies!

i received this primer in exchange for a review but regardless this primer was BOMB! it gave me the perfect base for my makeup but also kept me matte for the whole day. oily skin girlies, this primer is for you!!

Oily prone skin approved

I almost felt like using a powder wasn’t necessary, at least for removing any shine because this primer made all my base products start off with a matte finish! I’m very oily prone so this is great to use! It lasted all 6 hours and honestly think it could’ve gone for longer!

I’m very picky about my primers since they can either make or break your entire makeup base. This primer is definitely a win in my book - provides the perfect smooth base for my makeup and definitely helps prolong the wear of my products.

Worth the hype!

They have every right to call this a blurring primer. The way my pore disappeared after applying was very impressive! Also the scent reminds me of the “Look At Me” face mask from LUSH. I have oily skin so after a few hours it’s inevitable I begin to look dewy but this still held up pretty well I’d say. I’d definitely recommend this product

Shine controlling primer

This primer works amazing and really does the job. The texture works really well for my oily skin and helps to control the shine on my face. I love how it sits underneath my skin tints and minimizes the appearance of my pores

This primer gives a matte base for make up to glide on smoothly. I usually use a light coverage foundation and top it with a powder foundation as part of my foundation routine. With this primer, my foundation looks very uniform across the skin and lasts throughout the day. The primer has a slightly cool feeling and smells like mint to me. I have not seen any Peeling issue with this primer so far.

Smells bad

Love the smooth, velvety texture—blurs pores and controls shine like a dream! But the smell? Really unpleasant. If you’re sensitive to scents like me, heads up. Amazing formula, just wish it smelled better.

This primer is super strong and keeps a good grip onto my makeup all day and keeps it on my face. Normally my makeup is hard to apply with other primers but this one keeps it super easy to apply my makeup!

Super nice! It’s refreshing and gives a great base to work with. My makeup goes on so much better and smooth. I love the amount of matte-ness it gives to the makeup look.

Causing breakouts

This product works ok and I don’t have issues with it pilling or breaking up my makeup, but I’m pretty sure this is breaking me out. I use it only on my forehead occasionally as I have bangs to prevent them from getting oily. The last few months, I’ve been getting random breakouts of whiteheads all over my forehead. I had no idea why, as I haven’t really changed my skincare lately, but I minimized it more and it seemed to clear up. I also stopped using the primer, but this was just out of trying new things, I didn’t think it was the issue. I’ve used it again a couple times this week and the breakout is back on my forehead! Nowhere else and this is the only spot I put the primer. I also want to note that I don’t have issues with nyacinimide, so I don’t think that’s it. Maybe just be cautious if you have sensitive skin!
