Exceptional! Lives up to the hype!

I was so impressed by this product I bought two more for my favorite people. It is silky-smooth going on and boots perfectly dry with no transfer. It became my favorite lipstick after one use!

Look guys, as a lipstick, this probably sucks. I’ve been using this product as a blush for years though, and it is absolutely wonderful. I’ll usually just use my fingers to blend it in, and it provides the loveliest natural looking blush to my cheeks. It doesn’t really stain my lips as well, but adheres to pretty much everything else great. I’d recommend this as a blush, but def not as a lip product.

Spicy

Love this so much. So creamy and smells like birthday cake. Color is spicy and perfect for autumn season color palette. Joy to wear.

Does not dry/ Transfers very easily

I ignored the bad reviews hoping my product would be different however I was proven wrong. The product doesn't dry and it stays sort of oily. Normally I would be okay with that because you know some lipsticks aren't meant to stay on long periods. This one however comes off soooo easily. you're talking it's gonna smudge. You can rub your lips together or you can just pat it a little bit and it'll come off. Honestly they should discontinue this product or make it a bit more resilient. Save your coins guys this is NOT worth the purchase.

One Lip Stain to Rule Them All

Five stars and let me tell you why. I think people get thrown off by "Velvet Cream Matte", however YSL's website shows this as a Velvet Cream Matte Lip Stain. It is a stain, and easily the most comfortable and luxe lip product I have ever used. I apply liberally for a hyper pigmented look, but it's meant to settle in throughout the day, which is absolutely what it does. By the time I eat or smooch it off, I'm left with a perfectly gorgeous coral shade that is matte and, I cannot say this enough, freaking stunning. I get a zillion compliments and I wear it ALL the time now. If you go into this knowing what the product is, you'll love it. I understand how you'd feel disappointed if you were just expecting a matte lipstick. GET IT. It's so worth it. I want every shade now.

Love the color but this will not dry down no matter how little you apply. Since it doesn’t dry down it will transfer like crazy

This ain't it

I got this as a premium sample from one of my orders. It's a pretty and slightly unusual color which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. Other than that, this lipstick gets 0 stars. It doesn't dry down in the slightest and the finish is somewhere between satin and soft matte, not velvet matte.

Not Worth Your Money

This isn’t matte, it doesn’t last long, it smears. I can get that from the Dollar Store. So disappointed.

full disappointment and waste of your money! I bought this lipstick for special occasion, the colour is different from the picture. It is not a beautiful red at all! It is not matte lipstick and long-lasting one. It removed once I have drinken water. I am so sorry to pay so much for this lipstick. Dose of colours which costs 2 times cheaper has much more better quality.
