Leaves a residue

I hate how this leaves your hair feeling. I read the instructions (who reads shampoo instructions?!) and followed exactly and still my hair just feels awful once dried!! It’s like a residue. I’ve tried asking the company what I’m doing wrong, if there is a magic step that I’ve missed. But they weren’t that helpful. Unfortunately this product is not for me!

Volume BOOSTER!

I have curly hair, blonde with lots of gray in it now and it's starting to thin. This shampoo is the HOLY FREAKING GRAIL of body for when I want a lot of bounce and volume. I LOVE the classic rose smell, not overpowering when rinsed. I use a purple tinted conditioner (blonde ale) and my hair just ROCKS. I use this about once a week (I only wash two times a week) and I get nothing but compliments about my volume. It's worth the money. Put it in your cart.

Amazing Volume

Adds more volume than any other product I've ever tried. Cleans hair really well but doesn't leave it dry or weighed down. I have thin, wavy, frizzy hair, for reference. You use a small amount, so it's a great value

My Holy Grail!

This shampoo is my holy grail and I will be distraught if they stop making it. I have very fine hair and it has always felt far too slick, in a bad and very flattening way. I got a sample of this years ago and it was magic! My hair would finally hold styles and actually looked good being worn down, instead of looking like a limp mess. I've never had an issue with my hair feeling too tangly, especially since they changed the formula, but it may be down to my routine. I use one of those silicone scalp massages to distribute tune shampoo, only running back and forth, not in a circle. I rinse with cool water, then dry with one of those hair towels that doesnt tangle. I spray a leave in conditioner on just the very tips and use a wet brush to comb it through. After this, my hair feels soft, lightweight, and volumous. Best of all, I don't have to wash it so much as with other shampoos. I've tried this routine with other high end shampoos, like living proof, drunk elephant, etc, but my hair texture still ends up way too slick. Christophe Robin is truly my holy grail.

Please bring back the cleansing purifying scrub!

I used to use the Christophe Robin cleansing purifying scrub. It was amazing! I was so sad when I couldn’t find it anymore so I got this one instead hoping it would be the same. It isn’t. This one is awful. It makes my hair feel dry and frizzy and makes it so tangled. And it doesn’t even feel clean. I’m so disappointed. The original cleansing purifying scrub turned into a wonderful lather, smelled great, and made my hair and scalp feel so clean without feeling stripped. Why would that ever be discontinued?

I started with a sample of this and immediately bought the full size. I have a dry scalp around my hairline and this is so helpful without being scratchy or drying.

Don’t Bother

So disappointed. I had used this line years ago and loved it but they must have changed the formulas or something. These left an incredibly thick film on my hair that you could feel on your hands after trying to style. I tried it again thinking maybe I didn’t rinse properly or something and my hair actually stopped taking water and wouldn’t wet in the shower. My hair is not very textured and has never done this before. Very much not worth the price and I will likely not be buying from this brand again.

I have used Cleansing Volumising Paste from Christophe Robin for several years now. I always repurchase. It takes very little product to lather and clean. Two reasons I love it are: it creates volume at my roots. My hair is a bit fine and this helps it to not look flat. Secondly it cleans so well I can get an extra day or two out of my wash. That has helped my ends become more healthy as they are not dried out from overwashing. Love this product!

Great product

I loved this! I got it as a 100 point perk and tried it yesterday. I was hesitant to try it based on some of the recent negative reviews. I have thin frizzy hair, and I used about a tablespoon amount. It lathered tons, Zero residue left. It smelled amazing and it didn’t linger too long in my hair. I docked it a point just for how expensive it is and I don’t love tub products in the shower. But I could see myself buying the full sized product. I also liked the scalp scrub. I don’t get the negative reviews. Maybe they didn’t use enough of the product? tonsaabsoulTley

Do Not Buy This Shampoo! Horrible!

If I could rate this product a -5, I totally would. This is literally the worst shampoo that I have ever used in my entire life. I used it exactly like the directions and it pulled all the oil out of my hair and left it completely matted while it was soaking wet. On top of the horrible matting was a nasty film left on my scalp and hair that I tried rinsing out over and over again. I had to shampoo my hair twice after that to see if I could get the residue out. It was awful! I then slathered a huge amount of conditioner in my hair to see if I could work a comb through my hair. I honestly don't know what this stuff is on the market. It is the worst product I've ever tried.
