Chance Eau Splendide feels like joy ans confidence in a bottle. The bright raspberry note is playful and fresh, but it quickly settles into this beautiful floral heart of rose and violet that’s soft yet bold. It’s elegant, with just the right touch of mystery from the iris and white musk in the drydown. It’s great to wear during the day but also makes a nice nighttime fragrance. Wearing it makes me feel radiant and empowered—like I’m choosing myself every time I spray it. It lingers all day and even gets me plenty of compliments from strangers. This fragrance isn’t just pretty; it’s a reminder to take care of myself and feel special!

Universal with body chemistry

I am constantly on the search for violet-centric fragrances as they are a bit old fashioned but have a very unique scent profile. This one hits the mark with a juicy violet that mingles seamlessly with the rose and raspberry notes. It is fresh and fruity and a pretty universal scent--not too musky, not too powdery, not too spicy, not cloyingly sweet. Sometimes rose can be overpowering and headache-inducing, but the rose in this perfume is a softer rose and a middle note, probably a geranium rose, so you get that lovely element without it dominating the fragrance. I am very picky with my fragrances and when I received this one in exchange for my honest review, I was a bit skeptical and originally planning on gifting it to a friend after trying it. 2 weeks later and I plan on buying another bottle when this one runs out! My skin eats up fragrances and most perfumes have weak lasting power on me, but this one hangs on for a good 6-8 hours, and lasts even longer on clothes. I can't quite put my finger on the base notes, maybe a cedar and vanilla musk, but with the crispness of apple or pear. This is only the second perfume I have worn that I have received compliments on, so I am pleased others love it as much as I do!

Fresh and Floral. A little sweet

I love it. It’s a fresh floral perfume. A little sweet and it lasts a long time too. You might have to reapply like once but it’s really nice. Also it does so well with layering. I’ll definitely buy this for my cousin

My new go to!

Absolutely adore this perfume, it’s sexy, sophisticated, floral and classy all in one. I wore it to multiple occasions and everyone absolutely LOVED it kept asking me what I was wearing, it’s also versatile in that my mom and I both wore it so it paired well with a younger and older person which is a huge thing when deciding what kind of perfume to give as a gift. It’s not too strong where you end up with a headache but it is very potent so 2 spritz I would say go a long way and the staying power is just incredible. I used a little Vaseline where I applied it and it lasted on me for 2 days even after showering a lingering scent which was even more beautiful but since you don’t need to use so much of it the perfume also lasts a long time! Super fresh, light and pretty smelling

I received this as a gift from Chanel. So I wasn't sure what to expect when I tried it on. Immediately I was pleasantly surprised by how perfectly layered the scents are. Its floral and fruity but not the least bit overpowering. This is NOT your grandma's strongly pungent perfume ladies! This is light and fresh. The perfect spring & summertime scent in my opinion! Its light enough to wear in the office, to work, fully capable of being a go-to daytimes scent. But also captivating and yummy smelling enough to be worn during a warm summer night out on the town. Buts not what I would call a "faint" scent, either. Just light enough to draw peoples senses in when you walk by. (which btw, I've gotten SO many compliments on this. My husband loved it. And my mother in law asked me what I was wearing as soon as I leaned in to hug her Lol So its got both of their approvals as well) The scent does mellow a bit after it dries down on your skin. But also lingers for hours afterwards. I would say that 4hrs after application on my neck, wrist and ankles, it has medium radiation. You will not fill a room with the smell when you walk in, but everyone you want to smell it, will. You will get whiffs of it throughout your day and it will smell just as nice as it did when you first applied it. I do wish the sprays PEAK amount of scent radiation lasted a tad bit longer though.You do get a solid 5-6hrs out of it. But if you want peak scent radiation still at your 9pm dinner time, and you spray'd your pulse points at 6am that morning, then you may want to add just ONE more spray on your wrist (where i/you are most likely to wash off some throughout the day when you wash your hands anyways) before heading to dinner. Just one spray would be ample, honestly. Just an extra spritz to freshen up is all. But it's honestly not needed..just wanted ;). (Trust me, you will never NOT want to smell like this either, after you've tried it.)

I love it

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review and boy do I have an honest review for you guys. Never have I purchased Chanel fragrances before. As a mom of 3, they’re just not in my price range (to spend on myself). So when I tell you the gasp I gasped when I found out I was chosen to review something from Chanel, I cried. We listen and we don’t judge, unless we’re judging the product ok? At first spray I was like “wow this smells like someone’s grandma.” (Sweet nostalgia) Maybe my grandma, your grandma, idk but someone’s grandma walked into the room and I wasn’t mad at it. After a day, the scent of our grandmother was no longer there. All I can smell now are floral and musky scents. It has a great staying power that lasts all day, but what I REALLY love is how easily it sprays out of the bottle. When I use this one up, I will definitely invest in myself and purchase another one. Very happy.
