Well I was about to tell you all of the reasons why I thought this cream didn’t work. Then I looked at my before and after pictures lol. Brighter, plumper, firmer. I did have a light on in the after photo but I can still tell. My skin is more even. The formula is on the thicker side. It’s not icky feeling but I do have oily skin so it feels a little heavy if I use too much. Because the results are giving I will definitely take that feeling. gifted by clarins

I am loving the Clarins Extra-Firming night moisturizer so far. I’ve been using it for about a week along with the daily extra-firming energy moisturizer during the day. I love the way the cream feels on my skin - super hydrating, but not greasy. My skin looks and feels amazing when I wake up and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive mature skin. Gifted by Clarins.

Worth it

The texture is rich and comforting but it melts into the skin nicely and doesn’t feel greasy. By morning my skin feels softer, more hydrated, and looks a bit plumper. What caught my attention is the ingredient combo: collagen polypeptides, niacinamide, and avocado peptides (didn’t know it’s a thing). Apparently there are millions of peptides in a jar, which sounds pretty cool. Over time my skin looks smoother, more rested, and a little more radiant when I wake up. It does have classic Clarins fragrance, which I personally enjoy, and it gives the whole routine a fancy spa-like feel. Okay so night creams have always been hit or miss for me. Either too heavy, or I wake up and my skin looks exactly the same as when I went to sleep. This one is different and I noticed it fast. The texture is rich but it absorbs well. Not the kind where you're sliding around on your pillow. It feels like it's actually working while you sleep, and by morning my skin is noticeably plumper and softer. Like genuinely bouncy. After a few weeks of pairing this with the day cream, my skin tone started looking more even, my jawline looked more defined, and the dullness I had been carrying around was just gone.
