I bought this for my 64 yr old fine heat and color damaged hair. I love the results. I had no idea how this would work. My hair looks and feels as healthy as it was when I was 20.. Truly amazing…

I love Olaplex, but this was a miss for me. I have fine, yet dense hair. I used this twice, followed the instructions, and paired it with my No.4 and No.5 shampoo and conditioner for fine hair. Both times my hair was weighed down, frizzy, and thinned out. I had increased hair loss and breakage both times and it takes a couple weeks to balance out. I will say it at least smells nice!

Love this shampoo!!

I was so excited to try the Olaplex No.4FINE shampoo made just for fine hair. It cleans my hair really well without stripping it or leaving it dry. I love that it has their special bond-building ingredient (bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate) that helps repair damage, plus hyaluronic acid for hydration. My hair feels lighter, cleaner, and has more volume. Definitely giving this 4/5 stars! Only

SILKY HAIR

I’ve used this product for years. When I used to dye my hair, it would help with the breakage and smoothed out my hair. Now, I use it on my natural hair and OMG my hair feels so SILKY. My hair is so soft, no knots, no frizz. Amazing product!

At first I thought it was strange that I was to use this product FIRST and then shampoo, i.e., why am I going to put this on and then wash away what I just did. I mean... it doesn't entirely make sense, right? But trust me, it works beautifully! It helps strengthen and protect ahead of the cleansing and conditioning steps. I have very thin and fine hair and this entire product line has made a world of difference for me. Try it and give it time to work - you won't be sorry.

Does its job perfectly!

I used this on my damp, recently bleached hair, and I was pleasantly surprised with how silky my hair instantly was after I rinsed it out. When dried, it felt softer to the touch as well.

Meh

Jury’s out for me. Bottle is much smaller than I expected. Bought with No. 0 and together they have made my hair shiny and soft but also seem to be emphasising my frizz. Will get to the end of the bottle but not convinced so far. Disappointed as am a long term user of the shampoo and conditioner.

Worth giving it a try

I have 2c-3a curls that get very dry in the summer and after using this treatment only once I was shocked at how soft it made my hair. While it is a bit pricey for the amount of product and I have not yet tried using it consistently as recommended, I do think that it is a great purchase if you are looking to hydrate your hair.

It's a NO for me

It's a no for me. I used No. 3 twice and each time I had concerns about the results. I followed the directions by applying it before shampoo and left it in for 10 minutes. After shampoos and conditioner my hair is hard and I've had more hair on my comb than ever. I have 3c hair. The ends of my hair are dry and hard. It's not for me. I tried it twice.

Loc girlies with 4C texture — BEWARE!

I wanted to love Olaplex like everyone else, especially after seeing so many mixed reviews, but I have to say this has been one of my biggest hair regrets. I’ve been using No. 3 and No. 4, and while I’ve always loved their oil, these two products have completely wrecked my locs. Since using them, I’ve experienced two locs breaking off entirely, terrible shedding, and thinning around my surface locs. My hair was thriving before, now it’s brittle, dry, and shedding nonstop. To say I’m devastated is an understatement. If you have 4C texture and locs, please proceed with caution. I truly regret this purchase and wish I had listened to the warnings in other reviews.

5 Star treatment

I’ve been buying this product for a few years now, along with the shampoo and conditioner. I noticed a difference after a few treatments. Love this product.

Very watery not worth the price not sure what happ

I bought the very large bottle of this and it is very watery and does not work. Previous bottles I have bought were so thick it was hard to get them out of the bottle this just pours out You can barely keep it on your hand. Wasted my money
