Obsessed!

Olaplex Rich Hydration Hair Mask has been one of my most loved hair masks recently! This hair mask smells incredible, I love that it has such a fresh scent. I love the texture of this product. It is very soft and doesn’t leave a greasy thick feeling to my hair! I have been using this hair mask for the past few weeks, I have noticed a HUGE DIFFERENCE in the quality/health of my hair. I struggle with alot of frizz, since using this I hardly have any frizz in my hair. My hair gets very dry in the winter months, since I started regularly using this hair mask I no longer have dry hair. I notice my hair is visibly more shiny when using this. This hair mask is one of the few masks I would say is worth trying! I have genuinely noticed a different since I started using it!

Not for me.

I received this product as a part of an educational promotion to try. After using it once, I was not impressed. My hair felt dry and brittle after blowdrying, and was extra frizzy. I tried it a few more times just to make sure it wasn't an off day, and I couldn't believe how it did nothing for my hair at all. I have wavy, medium long hair. Maybe this will work for others with thicker, less frizzy hair, but it definitely didn't hydrate my hair or make it feel nice.

I received this product as part of an educational promotion and I couldn’t be more happier because Olaplex never disappoints. This mask does exactly what it is suppose to! Super hydrating and is absorbed into your hair so quickly! Leaves hair so soft and moisturized!

Doesn't hold a candle to No. 8

I pray this isn't replacing the No. 8 mask, because it doesn't hold a candle to it. Actually made my hair more frizzy. Didn't help with humidity, didn't make my hair smooth or shiny, please don't discontinued the no.8.

Great for thick and medium hair

I used the Olaplex Rich Hydrating Mask after the beach because my hair was so dry and salty, and honestly… it saved my hair. After rinsing it out, my hair felt soft again, way more hydrated, and not stiff or crunchy at all. It didn’t feel heavy either, which I really liked. My hair just felt healthy and normal again. I’ve been reaching for this especially after beach days or sun exposure when my hair needs extra moisture. If your hair gets dry from the sun or saltwater, this one actually works.

Great product

This is the best hair mask I’ve ever used. I have very curly hair very dry hair. It takes me an hour to do my hair and comb it now. It takes me 10 minutes after using this mask. This is a great product.

Perfect for low density hair!

Right after rinsing this mask out, my hair felt truly hydrated and soft without getting that heavy, weighed-down feeling that a lot of deep masks can leave behind. Usually with rich masks, my hair ends up feeling coated or greasy but with this one, it felt nourished yet light and bouncy. It’s great if you want that deep moisture without heaviness, and it left my strands feeling silky and smooth.

As someone with 3c curls, dryness and frizz are pretty much a constant battle for me. My hair almost always looks healthier when I load it up with curl cream, but I reached a point where I wanted my hair to actually be healthy on its own, not just temporarily smoothed by product. That’s what made me try the Olaplex Rich Hydration Mask, and I’m genuinely glad I did. My curls tend to feel rough and thirsty right out of the shower, especially if I skip styling products. After using this mask, that changed. The first thing I noticed was how soft my hair felt while rinsing, like it had finally absorbed moisture instead of just being coated. Once my hair dried, my curls looked more defined and less frizzy even without curl cream, which almost never happens for me. The dryness that usually makes my hair look dull was noticeably reduced, and my curls felt more elastic and bouncy rather than brittle. What stood out most was that the hydration felt real. My hair didn’t just look good for a few hours, it stayed softer and more manageable for days. I still love using curl cream, but I no longer feel like I need it just to make my hair look presentable. My curls have more shine, less frizz, and feel healthier at their base, not just styled. It’s not a magic fix, and it won’t replace a full curl routine, but as someone with dry, frizz-prone 3c curls, this mask helped my hair feel genuinely nourished instead of temporarily masked by product. If you want your curls to look healthy even before styling, this is one of the few treatments I’ve tried that actually moves the needle.

Great for revitalizing dull locks!

As someone who’s already familiar with the OlaPlex brand and currently uses some of the products I was excited to receive this product in return for my honest review. I struggle with dryness and this absolutely did the trick. I love the texture and slip I was getting as I combed and massaged it through the hair. I noticed a visible difference with the luster and feel. It left my hair much more bouncy, but still very soft and clean feeling. After use there was a noticeable mending to my rough ends.

Great conditioning product!

Absolutely loved this deep conditioner! The smell was no where near overpowering but it definitely is the perfect, sweet, clean scent! It definitely coats your hair very well, while adding moisture and softness into the hair. I will say for me personally this product is not a “a little goes a long way” product. I had to use a good amount to get it to fully coat every section of hair. This product did not dry my hair out, and i definitely would use it again.
