Weird waxy reside

This product applied really well. My coarse strands really soaked up the product and the mask itself felt thick and moisturizing. Once it was time to rinse, my hair felt heavy and coated in a bad way. The mask left a waxy film on my hair and was super hard to detangle. This mask did not work for me at all. I was expecting different results, based on the great reviews. I am not sure why this didn't work for me

It did not work for my hair

As a beauty creator and licensed esthetician I tend to try a lot of hair care products. Olaplex is Normally a brand I enjoy using on my hair. Unfortunately that was not the case with this hair mask. I have very long, wavy hair that can get quite the amount of frizz. So when I saw that this mask was hydrating, anti-fried and for medium to thick I thought it would be perfect for me. After using this mask as directed on the packaging and I felt like my hair had a strange coating on it. My hair did not feel hydrated or nourished whatsoever. After my hair dried it looked dry and lifeless. I was expecting to really enjoy this hair mask but unfortunately for me it did not do what it claims. I don’t like to give up on products so easily so I paired it with Olaplex shampoo and conditioner and gave it several uses before coming to this conclusion.

Olaplex RICH HYDRATATION MASK *new item

I bought it 3 weeks ago and I have used twice but my hair is dry and not shine. I normally use all olaplex products. I tried to buy the No. 8 intense moisturizing but it is out of stock. this OLAPLEX RICH HYDRATATION MASK does not work with hair. My hair is curly was shiny but with this product not any more. I feel so disappointed with Olaplex. I have been using for the last 12 months. I have been a great believer of Olaplex products.

A keeper in my hair routine

I didn't have high hopes for this product after trying so many masks that didn't help with frizz, but I was pleasantly surprised. It left my hair feeling so soft and the amount of frizz I usually have was greatly reduced. I found a winner!

Overall great!

The mask was very hydrating leaving my hair very soft and shiny. I will say a little goes a long way but it is perfect for my curls. I did a successful braid out using the mask for deep conditioning before styling. I received this as a part of an educational promotion.

Not recommended

I would give 2 stars but this probably would work better with the recommended shampoo and conditioner but it never gave hydrated and my hair still feels dry not even coated in the product.NIt recommended

Top Mask Ever!

This mask is definitely one that makes noticeable changes. I even used the mask in my hair overnight and my hair looked great the next day! No more breakage. Shiny, hydrated, soft. My hair actually looks healthy again! This, is part of the regimen that transformed my hair. I don’t even need to use a straightener anymore. I tried many products before this for my bleached, damaged and fragile hair. This is top of the list.

Perfect for curly hair!

I received this for product education and I love it! I love how nicely it works for my curly hair! I usually straighten my hair, and it leaves my hair so silky soft and smooth!

Restorative

Olaplex Rich moisture hydration mask is another hit product from Olaplex. This made my hair feel so amazing and honestly rejuvinated. I used this mask after shampooing in place of conditioner and let it sit on my hair for about 5 minutes before rinsing. It has a nice and heavy consistency that makes it super easy to spread and hold onto wet hair. I rinsed and my hair instantly detangled. I blow dry my hair after about 2 times a week and noticed it took a bit longer than usual to dry after the mask, but frizz was definitely cut down majorly. I would recommendthis to anyone who needs help getting their hair back to feeling soft and managable. If you have thin hair, just know that this is HEAVY. I went into this knowing i had to avoid my roots and that my hair would be weighed down after- which it was. This did help my curl pattern as well! I love the way my hair looks and feels after this, but it is heavy for my thin hair. Product was received as a part of an educational promotion.

Revived my hair!

This mask revived my hair! Before use my hair was dry, fragile, felt weak, and looked so damaged. Even after one use, my hair came back to life! It is so shiny and soft, it feels so moisturized and hydrated, and i have received multiple compliments on the shine in my hair. After using this mask, I noticed a reduction in frizz, and I live in a very humid area. I will definitely be purchasing this product in the future. This product was sent to me in exchange for my honest review.
