Signature Lip Liner - Schimmernder Lipliner

Helps create that perfect 90s nude lip!

I love everything Merit and this lip liner is no exception. When I first received it I thought it was going to be too dark but it's actually perfect with one of my many nude lipsticks to rock that 90s look I love. 10 out of 10! Need more colors.

Highly recommend! Great for everyday lip!

This liner is my go to for everyday wear! Super smooth application and almost has a hydrating finish. Highly recommend. Only subtracted one star because I do have to reapply throughout the day, but the color and pigment are great!

Lovely liner! Glides on and has excellent staying power. The color complements lipsticks well. Doesn’t feather or smear and has staying power.

Cassis

This review is actually for the shade Cassis which unfortunately wasn’t an option to select at the time of my review. I was looking for a shade to go with my Persimmon blush and this was the perfect choice. I’d definitely put Cassis in the neutral category, it has deep rich terracotta-likeness to it but the color is complex so on my lips you can even see a slight pinky-red mixed in. I did use a finger to blur it out as I love a more lived in look to my liners and lipstick. I also find blurring and then reapplying a layer of this pencil gives me a long wear time before needing to be reapplied. Merit lip products are among the few that don’t cause my lips to peel so Cassis was no exception and got a 10/10 from me and my sensitive skin! I added photos below, Cassis is on the left and Bespoke is on the right for comparison. I only have Cassis on in the photo, no other lip products.

Must Have!!

This is so perfect! It’s so soft and glides right on. I will say that the darker colors are not that sheer. But I love that! It’s so moisturizing and soft on my lips. I have been reaching for this a lot. I’m obsessed for sure!

Rose Lipliner for the win!

I tried the Signature Lip Sheer Lip Liner in Rose. I have pale lips that need definition but often colors look too harsh or unnatural; not this! I was given this color to try, and will be making this MY Signature color! I find it lasts well, hydrates, and makes me feel pretty.

Beautiful new shad

I am reviewing the new shade, June. It’s a beautiful mid tone peach with a slight brown undertone. It glides on smooth and lasts about half the day. It pairs well with a lighter lip shade to really accentuate the lip lines. Highly recommend!!!

Tried the new shade Cassis and I’m obsessed!

I lovvvvve this new berry shade of lip liner from Nerit called Cassis. It’s gorgeous! I found this color to be very long lasting, creamy, and perfect for various methods of wear. I’ve worn it both as a liner with gloss over it and as a lip color with my lips outlined and then filled in. There’s something so beautiful about this color that I can’t fully describe. It sits perfectly between red and purple for the most gorgeous, natural berry flush. I highly recommend all of the liners, but this one is a favorite!

My favorite lip liner

I’m actually leaving this review for a newly introduced color called Cassis - it’s a gorgeous shade: a deep, cool pink that is a my lips but better shade on me. In the photo I included, I just lined my lips and then lightly filled them in. I have this product in other colors and find that it’s a really soft and comfortable formula that is easy to use and wears gracefully. I’ve tried other liners, but this is the only one that is a staple in my makeup routine. Like most merit products, this is a winner!

A must have creamy Liner!

After using this product, i’ve fallen in love with how creamy and easy it goes on! It lasts so long and is so easy to use. I love the size of the application because it’s so easy. guide.

The Lip Liner That Pulls Everything Together

I tried the Signature Lip Liner in Cassis and ended up liking it more than I expected. First, I applied it all over my lips, and it actually wears very similarly to L’Avenue — a cool, refined berry tone that looks polished without being too heavy. The formula is smooth, has strong pigment, and gives a really clean, put-together finish. Where it really stood out to me, though, was how versatile it is with other lip products. I tried it with several shades, and it consistently worked to soften and balance them. With Power, it toned down the intensity and made the color feel much more wearable. With Framboise, it created a more dimensional, tonal berry look that felt a bit more elevated. My favorite combination was pairing it with Pink Beet lip oil. The liner adds just enough structure, while the oil keeps everything soft and effortless — it ended up being the most natural and wearable look for everyday. Overall, Cassis works well both as a standalone lip color and as a liner. It blends easily, doesn’t look harsh, and adapts nicely depending on what you pair it with. Definitely a good option if you prefer cooler-toned, berry-leaning shades that can be worn in multiple ways.

ROSE - New color coming!

I love this lip liner. It goes on so soft, and blurs easily. You can easily wear this alone. This is not however, one of those lip liners that set and then are hard to get off, so if you prefer that , then this is not for you. However, if you like that lived in, soft look, it’s really perfect. I have tried Coupe (cool, lighter pink) , Bespoke (pinky peach) and now tried Rose, which is my perfect my lips but better shade. Darker than Coupe , and more neutral. It’s a perfect, rosy color.
