Love concept

I am trying the complexion stick for the first time. I do not find that it works as well as the tinted serum. It tends to kick on my skin a little bit, but I like using it as a bit of a cover-up. I have not found my right shade yet.

Converted me on day one!

I was using a very high end $$$ liquid foundation but tired of it rubbing off—or dropping on—my clothes. This stick formula puts just the right amount of foundation exactly where I want it. It’s easy to layer for more coverage, blends beautifully using brush or fingers, and doesn’t accentuate wrinkles or texture. I’m a total convert!

Nice coverage

This provides good coverage, but isn’t too heavy. The only thing I don’t love about it is that it is a little hard to blend into my skin. I either use a damp brush or my fingers.

Great for on the go

This product made covering up my acne scars and hyperpigmentation such a breeze! I throw it in my purse and can apply it on the go after a shower at the gym. I like that it’s buildable with a creamy formula, easy to blend out with fingers or a brush

It truly looks like skin!

For me full coverage is essential. I apply it directly from the stick to my face and blend it with a damp blending sponge using the stippling technique. Easy and not messy! It provides a beautiful finish. Eventually I'll purchase a foundation brush specifically for stippling to see how it compares to the blending sponge. My only disappointment is that the shade I chose (Hickory) was as close as I could get it to my own skin, but there is still too much of a yellow cast. I need something cooler and did not see a cool option that wasn't too light. It's an excellent product.

Beautiful skin-like finish & texture

I love this foundation!! I’ve purchased 4 times now. The foundation is very skin like and natural. Unless I’m experiencing flaky dryness, I feel like you cannot tell that I’m wearing foundation. It has a creamy texture and a slightly dewy appearance… but it just looks moisturized, not super wet… kind of waxy, but in a good way? I use it over a moisturizer and more through my t zone, spot treat and pat it out with a beauty blender. Just for context, my skin is on the drier side, and I don’t really have issues with foundations emphasizing pores. Also recommend going in person to find a match. Mine matches perfectly, but never would’ve chosen it based of the description.

Love the texture!

I love how smoothly this goes on. Figuring out the color is tricky as there are no samples. I especially love it for undereye area and how it goes on easily. Wish it was more dewy for the face - it’s matte.

Moisturizing foundation for a natural look

After using ILIA’s moisturizers, I thought I’d try their concealer and foundation products. I love the feel of this product on my skin. I was impressed with how moisturizing it was for a foundation and loved how easy the stick was for application and blending. I ordered online so finding a color match was a risk. Using ILIA’s website they matched me with concealer in SC2 Yucca to pair with foundation in 8W Bamboo. It was a darker shade than I expected to be matched with but upon application it blended perfectly with my skin tone. This is a great product for someone who applies foundation minimally and as needed for a more natural look.
