Skin Rewind Complexion Stick - Teint-Stick

The color match is great for me, and I sort of like the texture of this product. But man is it thick/cakey. The person in store that demo'd it with me advised me to let it sit on my face a while so my body heat would make it easier to distribute. Still, it settles into the creases under my eyes every time and will separate. A better setting spray maybe would've helped? I had the misfortune of getting a giant black eye from my dog, though, and used this to hide some of the damage. It provided great coverage, but the coverage didn't last. I find it way too thick to want to use it as a foundation, even with my moisturize underneath and a wet blender. I think it's best used for spots, but only on even skin, or only with a setting spray that means business. Or maybe it's just not that great.

I want to like this

I really want to like this product because the shade matching is perfect. I’m super pale and it’s hard to find things that don’t make me look like I’m a ghost. Their shade range is great and I love that. The coverage is great too. But it is so dry! What am I doing wrong? I don’t even have dry skin but this dries me out so badly and looks flakey and cakey. Do I need more primer? More moisturizer? I hope I figure it out because the shade is so good.

Holy Grail

This is my Holy Grail complexion product. I love the ease of a complexion stick and used Westman Atelier’s and Merit’s before. This one beats both in my opinion. It’s so smooth, bendable, non-drying, and the shade match is perfect.

Light coverage didn't cover a blemish, but accentuated fine lines and made my skin appear dry. perhaps it's ideal for skin in your 20's.

Finally!

I’m pale skinned and have been trying to find a stick foundation that is light enough but not yellow. This is the one! I use it as concealer with a small brush and then blend it out with some Rhode glazing milk on the back of my hand with a foundation brush. The coverage is perfect.

A new favourite!

Loved this, skin looks so natural but blurred, easy blendable application can build up for further coverage. I used as a foundation rather than concealer, as it wasnt full coverage but love the natural finish on this. work well with some concealer/colour corrector

Returned. Felt greasy and sat on my pores. Color was good but the product itself didn’t work for me. I can’t stand the feeling of a makeup-y face

As someone with very fair skin, this is one of my go to foundations. It’s full coverage, but it does blend out well with a wet sponge. The only time I use a brush with it is for small spot coverage application, because I find it doesn’t diffuse as much when applied to my face with a brush. The only downside to the formula is that it doesn’t apply well to dry skin, so I would not recommend it for dry skin types.

As foundation sticks go, this is pretty good!

This stick isn't perfect, but don't let perfect be the enemy of good. It's a good neutral light-medium olive tone. It's more my summer tone, and I wish they had a lighter olive for fall/winter, but I can make it work with 7W Poplar. It doesn't oxidize, and I would say it's a sheer-to-medium coverage. I have oily skin and it lasts quite a while on me. That said, you must skin prep with this -- it will cling to dry patches otherwise. I use a dense brush to stipple it on, and that gives me coverage without it all sitting in my pores. To me, it's better than fiddling with liquid foundation and concealer. Using some of this on my redness and any spots makes them disappear. If you're used to full coverage or even medium coverage to even out your skin tone, this is going to probably disappoint.

Love it

It makes my skin look perfect-need to be sure skin is moisturized/prepped first. Easy and quick application. Totally blurs imperfections. This is my go to stick for when I’m in a rush but need to look polished.

Fantastic foundation

This is quite possibly the best colour match I’ve ever found in a foundation. This glides on smooth, isn’t caked and lasts. I do use a primer and setting powder as I have oily skin but am very pleased with it; will definitley purchase again. Wearability and longevity were top notch.

Not good!

At first I thought this was great. It practically disappeared on my face. It looked so natural. But then I started looking in the mirror on my way home from work and I looked awful. Patches were just gone. It sank into my pore and I just looked like a hot mess. I've tried mutiple primers and setting sprays and I got the same results. What a disappointment.
