Not impressed

Wanted to like it but couldn’t get past the terrible smell and greasy texture.

Great new addition for Retin A user

I’ve used Retin A for almost 10 years and it still makes my skin very dry without a heavy moisturizer when I wake up and by the end of the day. I switched from the Dream Mask from YTTP because of quality issues and have been very impressed by Kiel’s moisturizer. I have oily skin for the most part and the thick texture of this moisturizer did give me pause about whether it would soak in or just make my face greasy. It did the former. My skin is very smooth in the morning. I used to wake up with dry skin on the corners of my eyes and so far haven’t while using this. One possible draw back is that because it is so thick, exfoliating is a must while using this. With the increased cell turn over from the Retin A and the thickness of this product, a layer of dead skin can start to form and I have to rub my face to remove it. Just something to be aware of. If you stay on top of exfoliation, shouldn’t be a problem. It’s also winter and my skin dries out during this time and this product has been great. The smell isn’t pleasant but it’s not bad and hardly noticeable after the first few days of use for me.

Thick and rich.

Insanely moisturizing! Great for dry, mature skin. Non irritating. A little goes a LONG way. Great for neck and chest, too. If you use retin a products, this is a godsend.

TOP NOTCH! Does what it claims.

I use this at night instead of a night cream. Very little is needed after serums. It’s beautifully hydrating. I’m in my 70’s & have tried it all & I insist on good quality & that it does what it claims. This I ended up using it nightly. was originally purchased as a weekly mask, but it’s so beautiful

The only thing that worked for my sensitive skin

This is the only product that works on my sensitive, dry, acne prone skin without stinging when it feels extra irritated. I've tried multiple "barrier repair" products (e.g. Skinfix, Tower 28, Laneige) in the past with no success but this has been absolutely amazing. It is a balmy texture that starts off almost solid but melts into your skin with your body temperature. Reminds me of now discontinued Ren Overnight Recovery Balm.

Cleared Facial Eczema

Miracle product - got rid of my facial eczema. I use it every night. For extra moisture I use the regular Keihls moisturizer underneath, wait a few mins, then apply this. LOVE

No it’s not a must have

After using this Product it did nothing and also break me Out horribly. Expensive and bad

Skin Saver

I have severely damaged barrier from acids. I have been trying to repair it and Cetaphil was not cutting it. One use and I woke up to beautiful skin. It doesn’t feel or smell great to me going on but the reaults are so worth it!

staple in routine

amazing!! it is so hydrating and keeps and flakiness away. i also noticed that if you put it on top of skincare, your skincare will work so well

Another favourite Kiehl's product

Where the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream is my go to day cream, Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Face Mask is my absolutely favorite night cream. It isn't intended for daily use, but I have gone through long stretches where i use a very thin layer every night. The squalene has really reduced redness on my sensitive skin and helped a lot with dryness. It is extra helpful during the winter when i feel like a dried out corn husk. My skin always feels incredible when I wake up. I also used this on my tattoos when they were a week or two into healing and it worked wonders on keeping them hydrated.

A must have in my routine

I love using this cream in the fall winter when my skin needs extra hydration. It’s also great in between retinol / exfoliation treatments.
