Overly greasy hair the next day

I was fortunate to have received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Although incentivized, my reflection of Kerastase Bain Nutri-fortifiant Shampoo and mask has not been compromised. I have straight, 1B type hair, color treated, healthy but some heat damage. I absolutely love the smell of this shampoo and mask! Oddly enough, It reminds me of the pink Chanel tendre perfume mixed with Irish Spring Soap. It’s a very fresh fragrance and strong. I love the strong smell but I know others may be sensitive to it. The fragrance does last in my hair until wash day. Now, wash day does come sooner and that’s why I knocked a star down. I’ve used this product for a good month before reviewing and I get the same results every single time- greasy hair! I’ve shampooed only the roots of my hair, double cleansed, and rinsed extra. I’ve used small amounts of the mask on just the ends, and extra rinses. I always get greasy hair on day TWO that looks like I went a good 4-5 days without washing. So, this formula is very hydrating and smells beautiful, but I will not be purchasing again.

This works so great

The texture was also just what you would expect in a hair mask, and it was decently thick. The packaging was also neat and it was easy to grab.

good conditioner

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I lose a lot of hair in the shower due to breakage when I shampoo/condition. I didn’t notice a difference in the shower itself, but I did see a reduction in breakage during styling. The vast majority of breakage happens in the shower for me, so I expect results may change for the better in the mid-long term. The product itself has a slightly thinner texture than the conditioning masks that I am used to, but that didn’t detract from its fortifying capabilities at all.

Leaves my processed hair soft, silky, and healthy

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I absolutely love how soft and silky this mask leaves my hair. It’s perfect for those of us with processed or bleached hair. The scent is amazing—so luxurious—and a little goes a long way, which I love. Since I started using it, my hair feels much healthier, and for me, that’s a 10/10.

First time hair mask - love the results!

My hair is thick and long, so this extra layer of treatment seems to have kept things shiny, smooth and strong — especially important between my hair appointments. Beautiful bottle and great scent too!

I received this product complementary, In exchange for my honest review. I am a huge Kérastase fan and use several of their products in my hair routine. The Genesis mask is thick and works well for helping damaged hair. I wish that they would make a mask that comes in a pump bottle but other than that I really enjoyed getting to try this mask. The scent is great as the case with all their products. they can be a little bit pricey, but they’re always run sales and their products are definitely worth the money.

Hydrating mask/conditioner

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This formula is nice and thick! It super hydrating and smells strong of perfume. Personally I love scented products so this is a win for me. Packaging is pink and girly. Love it. I don’t know if it helps with hair growth but helps with hydration for sure.

So soft

I dye my hair a lot, and so I always deal with dry and brittle hair. I used this mask about every 4-5 days as my conditioner mask. It leaves my hair so soft. I mainly use it from the mid shaft down. The scent is pleasant.

Must have for thick tangled hair
