This is the best, not universal lip liner pencil. Do not be afraid of the color - you might think it Is going to be dark black, it is not.

the perfect lip product

I saw Grimes use this in her beauty regiment and immediately fell in love and had to have it. It lives up to everything I hoped it would be! It goes on quite sheer and is more of a deep wine/purple colour. Using it just on the outer parts of your lips with a gloss or subtle colour gives with plumping look, your lips look amazing. This also helps keep any gloss or cream lipsticks within the lined part. I find it goes on very smooth but not so creamy that it will run out quickly either. This definitely lasts. A new holy grail for me for sure!

Nice color. Subpar formula

Really like the idea of this but, this feels super waxy to me. Actually kinda of crumbly and waxy at the same time. The color I love but, the feel of this and the application make this not the best imo.

perfect nude liner

I got this in the shade 10 beige mouselline and I love it I’m not a fan of brown shades on me but wanted to keep up with trends and needed a nice nude that doesn’t pull too brown and this is it it’s light so it’s forgiving when you over line and it’s a shade that you can build up if you want the liner to pop more lasts great the only issue is the pencil itself is small and I wish more places carried it so I wouldn’t have to order online

Great lip liner for better defining the color of lipgloss and lipstick that is light when applied. Especially for lipgloss - It defines the color more and lends to a nice natural makeup look.

Makeup Bag Necessity

I love this liner, and it is my go to whenever I apply lipstick. I love the way it glides on, and blends with any shade I apply for the day. It doesn't apply as black, its more of a deep translucent violet. I would highly recommend this product.

Easy to use

I’m new to lip liners but this one applies very easily compared to most I’ve fought. It’s easy to see where to put it and it doesn’t have that dry feeling. The translucent purple is a bit weird to me so I have to work extra hard to make sure I blend it into whatever I put on top but that’s pretty easy to do. With pale or gloss tops, it shows a bit some I’m not sure it’s truly universal. But I really like the feel of how it goes on, how it keeps my lips comfortable and keeps my glosses from going everywhere. I think I’d pick an actual color next time but I sure like this product.

Fun lipstick helper

Really love this. It isn't black so much as a translucent dark purple. Adds depth and extra dimension to any lipstick (especially red).

Perfection

This is a luxury lipliner and you definitely get what you pay for. Beautiful colour, beautiful texture. I have the Givenchy lipstick in the grenat colour. The red is a bit darker than carmin and I was worried about getting this lipliner but I trusted the charts that Givenchy has and it ended up looking great. I will definitely repurchase.

universal transparent is great

The universal transparent works great. I used it with lip gloss and it kept my lipgloss from bleeding into my lip lines. It does get hard though so you have to be careful not to break it.

HG status

I did not want to love this liner. An advisor at Sephora put it on me so I gave it a try. The consistency is so smooth it glides easily on my very dry lips. The color #6 is beautifully pigmented and wears for at least 8-12 hours. It makes a great base for lipstick or gloss and looks like a beautiful stain on its own. I thought surely there are other pencils out there for less. Like a fool I bought a bunch - imagine all the trending ones, yep I bought them all. And yet I am back for this $29 pencil! And it will be a while before I stray again.
