[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This Loveshine plumping lip oil gloss from YSL is mind-blowing for a few reasons. First off, just look at my before and after pics! After a couple of minutes, my lips are noticeably plumped and looking fabulous. The color is beautiful on its own, but I like to line and fill in my lips with a pop of color and so far, this product works with all of the lip products I have tried it with. The shimmer is the most impressive part because while it looks very glittery in the tube, it looks very natural when it's on, adding a lovely shine in addition to the gloss. I'm also very happy with the way it feels. The tingle isn't irritating at all and the product feels surprisingly light for how super shiny it is. I feel like my lips are hydrated while wearing and even after it wears off which is something I don't find often in lip plumpers. This stunning product comes in the signature YSL monogrammed tube, so between that and the way it looks on, it definitely catches people's attention and I'm so here for it!

I wanted to like it more

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I wanted to like this. It’s YSL and has a high retail value, the packaging is well designed and looks very fancy. I just couldn’t stand the smell and ‘taste’ of it, idk what it was trying to be but both just did not make for a pleasant experience. The plumping part of the formula was uncomfortable and took some time for the tingling to dissipate. I did like the shimmer and the shade was subtle and buildable but it apply fairly thickly but overall not sticky.

A great plumping gloss!

I love a good YSL gloss and was excited to be able to try the shade Honeymoon for free in exchange for my honest review. This worked exactly as advertised - it plumps your lips and provides a glossy shine. The only difference between this shade and the original shades is that this one does have shimmer added to it. I thought it was beautiful when used with the Huda Beauty lip liners to provide a base lip color! I love the wide doe-foot applicator and find that it provides better color and even application in comparison to glosses with more narrow doe-foots. Because this is a gloss, you will need to reapply more often than a more matte lipstick, but that is standard with any gloss. I did notice it has a candy/fruity fragrance to it, but it wasn’t overwhelming for me personally as I often use products with fragrance in it. The plumping effect does work! I felt an instantaneous tingle and it lasted quite a while, but it was tolerable for someone like me who cannot tolerate Too Faced’s Lip Injection glosses. There is a note on the box that says do not apply on damaged lips. This warning is valid! On days that I did not do skin prep that involved my lips, I did feel that it did my lips a disservice, but I can’t take any stars away from the product for that one downside as the packaging does warn you about that. Overall, this is a beautiful shimmery gloss and I have loved using it! I look forward to getting more shades during the next Sephora sale!

PERFECT!!!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Absolutely love this plumping lip oil gloss! The shade and shimmer is so perfect! Perfect for a night out with the girlies. It’s not heavy and you can’t feel the shimmer on your lips whatsoever. The finish is super glossy & sparkly. It’s not tacky & your hair won’t get caught into it. To sticky residue either. I also love the plump it gives to my lips!

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. This lip plumping gloss definitely does just that! It leaves lips shiny and full. It is easy to apply. It doesn’t burn much, is light weight, and super glossy.

Cute color

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I don’t like that it made my lips red around them after a few minutes. I know it’s a lip plumper but still I feel like it shouldn’t do that. Personally this is not for me, although I do love most of YSL’s beauty line, if you do like a glitter gloss this is pretty but I just prefer lipstick over gloss.

Plump & shimmer

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Oh boy. Let’s start off by saying the color is beautiful! Such a nice easy shimmer that I think would look great on any skin tone! I think where I fall short is my inability to handle plumping products. The immediate burn was rough for me. I gave it to my mom and she LOVED IT! There’s a product for everyone! I just don’t think I have the strength.

I love the plump on this it feels nice on the lips and the smell is delicious! [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The color at first is beautiful but the way this wears on me the color disappears and you’re left with glitter everywhere. As long as you have time to reapply super cute

Good for plumping but tingles

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I’ve been waiting to review this product because I really wanted to give it a chance and I really wanted to like it… if you like plumping products that have a bit of a burn you’ll absolutely love this product - it isn’t bad really but it’s just too tingly for me. The actual color and hydration and glossiness of the product is amazing and the plumping definitely works!

Glitter is grainy

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Right off the bat, the packaging of this gloss is beautiful. It feels very sturdy and high-quality, and the design is very pretty! The shade I received, "Honeymoon", is a beautiful rusty pink color with pink and copper shimmer that will suit a wide range of skintones. The scent of YSL's lip products is also one of my absolute favorites, a light and refreshing fruity scent. I was also really impressed by the plumping ability of this gloss- my lips appeared noticeably plumped shortly after application despite how gentle the plumping sensation is. I have sensitive skin and experienced no pain or irritation, only a warming sensation. Unfortunately, there were a few negatives to this gloss that lead to me not reaching for it as much as I'd like to. The first and most significant flaw for me is the glitter. Glitter glosses are not my personal preference, but I try not to allow that to influence my rating- the issue is that the glitter in this gloss is so grainy! There's a huge amount of glitter in every swipe of this gloss, and I can feel it when my lips rub together like a very fine sand. The flecks of glitter sometimes clump together a bit in an unflattering way, and it's also extremely difficult to remove from the skin. That leads to my second complaint- I find this gloss to be too sticky. This does make it have pretty great longevity, but it's an unpleasant sensation on the lips and combined with the glitter just makes me feel messy. I think I would favor the glitter-less shades of this gloss more, but considering the price point, I don't find this gloss to stand out enough to be worth the cost. If you really enjoy super glittery glosses, however, you may end up loving this shade!

Not impressed

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I'm underwhelmed by this gloss. There is a light tingle from the plumping effect but it's fortunately not painful. Aside from that it's just a thick gloss with gritty shimmer particles that isn't particularly flattering on me. It might just be the shade on me but I expected more from YSL.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is a pretty gloss! The color is subtle, and the plumping effect is also nice. The tingling sensation from the plumping isn't over the top, which I appreciate. It has a pleasant scent to it as well! It doesn't feel particularly hydrating, but it doesn't feel super dry either. Overall, I do like this gloss! When I'm wanting a plumping gloss, this will definitely be one of my go-tos!
