The Virtue Discovery Kit is a great way to try the products. These were the three items I most wanted to try and this kit is excellent value. For reference I have very fine long hair that is coloured. It’s extremely frizzy and tangles easily. The shampoo and conditioner are very nourishing without being too rich or heavy for my hair. My hair is really soft after using, frizz is calmed quite a bit and my hair looks fuller. The Mask is lightweight and does not make my hair greasy which I find a lot of treatments like this can, and it makes a noticeable difference after one use. It’s one of the most effective masks I have used for immediately restoring life to hair. A great trio of products if your hair is damaged and needs some TLC these give results. I have since bought the full size of all three products.

Matted Hair

This dried out my naturally curly hair, matted the ends and made it feel like straw after just a couple uses

Flop

No results. Even conditioner seems not to do anything. Smells nice but strong coconut smell. Compared to other hard water products, this didn't do anything noticeable.

I wanted to love this shampoo and conditioner. I have thick, fine, shoulder length hair. I read the other reviews and was careful to use only the directed amounts of each. Sadly no matter how much I tried, Virtue left my hair lifeless and not at all conditioned. Thank goodness I only bought the mini size.

I could not wait to try this after seeing the press about it . Not anything out of the ordinary. Glad I did not buy the full-size

Leaky shampoo—terrible travel design!

Bought this as a travel size since I like the full size I got at my hair dresser. Sadly, I never even opened it and on my first trip the shampoo leaked EVERYWHERE! Not sure why the conditioner is sealed but the shampoo isn’t—terrible design. Didn’t even get to use it. I want my money back but didn’t even feel like traveling home with the sticky mess to a Sephora store. Spent so much time washing off all my other toiletries and ultimately had to ditch my toiletry bag and toothbrush. What a waste for the price!

I love the way this set transformed my dry, falling-out hair. However, the scent is like old dry marshmallow and the small dark blue container has a false bottom! If they can fix these hiccups, they can be unbeatable!

incredible hair products!!

Obsessed w these hair products!! I have super dark hair that has been bleached to almost white blonde, this hair line has fully saved my hair. It’s so much more hydrated and shiny after using, it smells amazing, and I see and feel the difference in my hair. I will be purchasing the value size when the mini’s run out!! 12/10 recommend to a friend!!

I no longer need to heat style my hair! I have fairly obedient wavy hair that’s easy to style but I’ve been trying to use less heat during the pandemic since I’m not going to work. All I need is to look presentable for daily zoom calls. Not a tall hair order. So, I have been looking for products that make my hair look great if I air dry. Virtue has made me love my air dried hair. I had already tried the mask before to moisturize my hair after a summer of too much chlorine and loved it so I decided to try this set. I have not been disappointed. My hair loves this stuff. Again, you really need to apply with a light touch. Less is absolutely more, even with thicker hair. I now use this line far more than the other brands I’ve been dating (Ouai, Alterna, Lush, Briogio) so I might be ready to go exclusive with this line.

bummer

i wanted to fall in love with this company so badly, but none of their products were a match for my super frizzy, somewhat damaged, naturally 3b hair. i try to blow it out regularly and while it felt smooth at first, it wouldn’t hold a style and turned into a frizz helmet within minutes. i was so disappointed .

Wanted to love this but....I’ve been using this set for a little over 2 weeks and really didn’t notice any improvement. I noticed that I’m losing more hair in the shower and my hair does not feel any stronger or smoother.

Works really well for my straight, damaged and highlighted hair. Great consistency when applying and leaves my hair soft, shiny and voluminous (other repair product can be too heavy for my hair).
