The One For Men - Parfum

A great new addition to The One line!

Years after the release of The One EDP we finally get The One Parfum and they knocked it out the part! The scent is perfect for a night out and I received multiple compliments hours after application so the performance and project are great! Highly recommend to those who were fans of the previous iterations!

Great scent, just doesn't last

I received this product from Influenster in exchange for an honest review. It has a pleasantly warm, pipe tobacco and leather scent when it goes on. It is a very cozy, intimate scent. The problem is that it is gone in less than a few hours. For what it costs, I want it to last longer.

I loved the attention that I got from the people I walked by, I could hear the chatter, I know it wasn't cause I'm pretty, but I did hear one lady talking about eating me... not sure what she meant by it, but my wife was holding me tighter.

A New Scent for my collection

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] When I wear Dolce & Gabbana The One, I immediately notice its warm ambery-spicy character that feels smooth and refined rather than overpowering. I get a subtle burst of notes of black pepper at the opening, which quickly blends into a comforting mix of ginger that adds a soft, spicy warmth. As it settles on my skin, I really appreciate the rich amber, tobacco, and labdanum in the dry-down—they make the scent feel creamy, masculine, and effortlessly elegant. I find that it sits close to me with a classy presence, making it perfect for evenings or cooler weather when I want to feel confident and sophisticated without being too loud.

A more potent The One EDP

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Sometimes, it is difficult to tell the difference between flankers. For the Parfum version of The One, there is a strong blast of black pepper right from the jump, differing from the citrus blast on the EDP version. Labdanum is present in the middle notes, as well as Vetiver in the base notes (different than the EDP). Personally, the EDP is more my speed. This Parfum flanker is less sweet and more pepper/tobacco.

A more potent The One EDP

Sometimes, it is difficult to tell the difference between flankers. For the Parfum version of The One, there is a strong blast of black pepper right from the jump, differing from the citrus blast on the EDP version. Labdanum is present in the middle notes, as well as Vetiver in the base notes (different than the EDP). Personally, the EDP is more my speed. This Parfum flanker is less sweet and more pepper/tobacco.

Well made fragrance, but not for me

I think this fragrance will be liked by many people, but it was a miss for me. It's a very strong, woody fragrance with a heavy dose of tobacco. When I wore it, it lasted over 8 hours on skin and was going strong when I washed it off. Personally, I felt like it was far too strong and not a very pleasant scent. However, I am generally not a fan of "beast mode" type fragrances, so I am likely not the audience for this one. If you enjoy strong and egregiously long lasting fragrances, this one may be for you

A wedding or formal event staple!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] A classic scent for those days when you’re trying to impress in the best way possible! This fragrance is a more developed version of the original one by Dolce and Gabbana! The projection and longevity are exactly what you’d expect from a brand like D&G! The notes of a spicy ambery scent remain but with added layers that are similar to a fougere scent of old! Highly recommend for those trying to smell great at events like weddings and more formal settings! Highly recommend!

Spicy but mellow.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Of the Dolce and Gabbana line up of fragrances, this one is probably my most favorite. Its initial smell punches your senses. From pepper to tobacco it finishes nicely
