[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Kérastase Genesis Défense Thermique Review I’ve been using this before I blow dry my hair and I really like it. My hair breaks easy and gets frizzy, but this makes it feel softer and smoother without feeling greasy or heavy. It also makes my hair look more “done” and healthy after styling. Plus it smells sooo good like salon hair. Definitely something I’ll keep using.

Great Protection with a Minor Drawback

This Genesis Leave-In Protecting Treatment really helps strengthen my hair and minimize breakage, which I love. It leaves my hair feeling softer and more resilient. However, I’ve noticed that it can sometimes weigh my hair down a bit or make it feel slightly greasy if I use too much. With a little bit of adjustment, though, it’s still a fantastic addition to my haircare routine.

Protective but not heavy

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is such a fabulous heat protectant. A few sprays go a long way for my fine hair, and my ends wind up feeling nourished and healthy versus a bit crunchy after heat styling. This helps minimize frizz as well. I only need a few sprays, and usually spray into my hand (photo shows how much I use for fine hair just past my shoulders). I wish the spray was a touch finer so I could spray on directly, but no big deal. The product doesn’t leave any obvious coating on my hair which is great as I don’t want it weighed down.

Helps reduce frizz when styling

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This spray works pretty well on my hair, I find that it helps tame frizz when I use it prior to blow drying or straightening my hair. I also don’t think it leaves an oily residue behind which I appreciate. Honestly my only issue is the spray bottle top- the mist is not fine enough and I feel like it does not apply evenly, for a higher cost product I would expect this component to be a bit nicer quality.

Hair feels soft, shiny, and manageable and my hair feels smoother, softer and easier to detangle after use, even on damp hair before styling. Also it is easier to style and curl!

It is a spray that gets spread evenly throughout my hair and you can use a little or use a lot to get the look you’re going for. The packaging is great because it’s easy to apply directly or using my hands because the consistency feels good and is buildable. I feel a real comfort when I make my hair without burn it, which is value for price.

Too much perfume for me.

Application is simple, you spray on wet ends and blow dry. I did find this product to be sticky, but the perfume was overpowering to me. It did help protect my curly hair from coiling and frizzing - my hair stayed straight all day, even though it was raining in Charleston. If the scent isn’t too much for you, then this product delivers
