Libre - Eau de Parfum Intense

"Elegant" for some...too mature for others.

I bought on a whim after reviews said it was "sophisticated", "elegant" and felt "expensive". At first it smelled similar to Jean Paul Gaultier's Divine (which I gave away because it was cloying) perhaps because of the shared white-floral, sweet profile. The dry down felt very soapy and then I read more critical reviews saying it was "old-lady like" or "mature" and I could not get that out of my head. As a 40yo the least I want is to smell like a grandmother. I still think it might work for younger girls who want something eccentric instead of the typical gourmand, sickly-sweet fragrances marketed for younger women but there are much more sophisticated ones like Chanel's Gabrielle or Herrera's Good Girl that don't smell like old-lady. I am glad I only bought the travel size version. Definitely this one is a "smell-before-you-buy" kind of thing.

Obsessed with this scent

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is my new favorite perfume. 1-2 sprays will last me all day! I get so many compliments and people asking what scent I’m wearing. It sprays easily, and the perfect amount.

Was hesitant at first, but so glad I purchased it!

I was on the fence about buying this perfume, but I decided to go for it. This is genuinely one of my favorite perfumes I’ve used. The scent is LASTING for sure. I let my mom use it & she told me she could smell it all day. I used it this morning before heading to class & i could still smell it towards the end of my day too! absolutely amazing for sure… i’ve been using it so much that i already put a dent in it! absolutely would recommend. i don’t really know how to describe the scent other than it just smelling beautiful. it’s somehow soft but at the same time bright. my new signature scent!

Best smelling perfume ever

It’s the best smelling perfume ever, it’s just amber-y and yummy.

Gorgeous and long lasting

This perfume is an instant favorite. I love how long it lasts. It’s hard to describe but very floral and almost kind of lavender. It is very unique and I don’t have anything else like it. Love it!

Need the big bottle ASAP!

This will be in my repurchase list of this year. The intense version is so so good. It lasts on me so long 6+ hours and the longer it sets the deeper the scent becomes. The atomizer sprays beautifully and I love the size, I’ve slipped this into my purse into the club so many places. Anytime I wear this I get a guaranteed compliment!

Smells Amazing

YSL Libre Intense has such a beautiful vanilla and citrusy smell to It that will literally linger on your clothes for days. I will be repurchasing another bottle as soon I run out of the current bottle.
